Saab, Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow Solutions Specialist, to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, implement, and maintain impactful ServiceNow solutions. This is an opportunity to bridge the gap between business challenges and technology, driving meaningful change across our organization. This position can work out of either our Orlando, FL or East Syracuse, NY office.
About the Role
As a ServiceNow Solutions Specialist, you’ll serve as a key partner to business leaders, understanding their needs and developing custom solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, blending technical know-how with strategic insight to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business and IT teams to gather requirements and recommend tailored ServiceNow solutions.
Develop & Implement Solutions: Create custom applications, workflows, and integrations to automate and streamline business processes.
Enhance Platform Functionality: Identify opportunities to optimize and extend the use of ServiceNow to meet evolving business needs.
Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Ensure system stability, troubleshoot technical challenges, and proactively address potential risks.
Maintain Best Practices: Uphold security, compliance, and performance standards across the ServiceNow platform.
Compensation Range: $85,000- $106,200
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree: With 5 years’ experience, or equivalent work experience in related field.
Experienced Professional: Proven experience in ServiceNow development, administration, or similar roles.
Technically Skilled: Strong proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Business-Focused: Adept at understanding business processes and translating them into efficient technical solutions.
Problem-Solver: A logical thinker with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
Excellent Communicator: Confident working with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
Certified (Preferred): ServiceNow Administrator, Developer, or ITIL certifications are a plus.
Citizenship Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
