Saab launches HMS Halland submarine after mid-life upgrade

On Thursday 13 February, the submarine HMS Halland was launched after a comprehensive mid-life upgrade at Saab's shipyard in Karlskrona. HMS Halland is the third and final submarine in the Gotland class to undergo the upgrade, which includes new technologies and systems of the same type that will be used in upcoming Blekingeclass submarines.

Saab launches Coast Control Radar

Saab will reveal the new Coast Control Radar at the upcoming International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is a next generation, phased-array, non-rotating, software defined radar developed in the UAE.

Saab receives order for the Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft System

Saab has received an order from BAE Systems Hägglunds for the sighting and fire control system UTAAS (Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft System) for Combat Vehicle 90. The order value is approximately SEK 700 million.
