Job Description:

Saab's Surveillance U.S. Division is in search of motivated, enthusiastic Engineering students who are interested in applying their studies to real-world product development through a paid Co-Op/Internship opportunity.

Saab is currently looking for Spring (January - April) 2025 Integration & Test Engineering Co-Op.

Under the guidance of Senior Engineers, Integration & Test Engineering Co-Ops will:

  • Contribute to the development of integration plans, checklists, test procedures based on program requirements and other system design documentation and conduct integration activities in accordance with these checklists.

  • Discover, investigate, and solve problems related to complex software/hardware systems

  • Develop, document, and executing test approaches and procedures

  • Assist in hardware and software troubleshooting

  • Assemble and/or upgrade lab environments

  • Applies acquired knowledge from relevant coursework in an accredited degree program to real-work practices


In addition to a competitive hourly rate, Saab Inc. offers a sign-on bonus to off-set housing expenses for Co-Ops residing outside the typical office commuting distance.

Compensation Range: $20-$22/hr

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:

  • Enrollment in an accredited degree program focused in an Engineering or related discipline.

  • Completed Sophomore year or greater at time of hire.

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

  • Prior Co-Op experience is preferred, but not required.

  • Typical duration of assignment is 3-4 month

Citizenship Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
