Gyro products for stabilisation in tough environments
The evolution of the digital age and advances in software processing have led to increased demands on accuracy and precision in sensor technology. We provide cutting-edge solutions in fiber optic gyro technology for the land, air and naval arenas.
Saab’s Fiber Optic Gyros, FOG, are designed to provide maximum stabilisation in tough environments. To achieve this in a cost effective way we use a modular approach backed up by a large application and sensor knowledge. We are specialized in tailoring gyro products according to customer provided specifications. The offer features solid-state, low-drift, high shock usability, small size and short start-up time and are available as basic single axis FOG sensor, 1, 2 and 3-axis solutions with analogue or digital outputs.
Up until today, we have produced more than 40,000 gyro sensors.
