Mechanical & thermal environmental testing
Saab test laboratories include a wide range of equipment for mechanical and thermal environment testing.
This includes a stratosphere chamber where we can simulate the conditions of high altitude flying regarding pressure and temperature.
Our Rain Erosion Rig is a unique facility and can test the ability of most materials to withstand rain at high speed.

Structural testing
Saab has extensive experience and well equipped facilities and can readily meet the demanding test requirements of the modern aerospace industry. For 60 years we have performed structural testing of specimens ranging from small components up to complete airframes.
We can quickly setup smaller tests using our wide range of standardized test equipment or design and manufacture tailor made test rigs.
Operations are certified to ISO 9001 and AS/EN 9100.
Our customers are the Aerospace industry such as Airbus and Boeing as well as other mechanical industry such as Defence, Space, Automotive, Marine, Agriculture etc.
