Larisa Hadzic from Saab can become the Future Female Leader of 2023
Larisa Hadzic, department manager within the business unit Submarine at Saab in Malmö, is one of 75 young managers and leaders selected by Sweden’s management organization Ledarna as the female leaders of the future.
“I started working at Saab straight after university in 2011 and have had several exciting roles within the business area Kockums. For two years now, I have been the department manager for the development of self-developed systems. We work in all phases, from early research and design to the verification of platforms. Which is extremely exciting!”
How did you choose your line of work?
“Since I was a child, I have always had an interest in how things work, as well as a desire to contribute and make a difference. It was the creative aspect of engineering that really caught my eye from the start because creativity has always been a big part of my life. “
What do you feel the most proud of within your work?
“I feel extremely proud to work with such brilliant colleagues and together be able to develop products that make our society sustainable. I learn new things every day and get to work with making the impossible possible!”
What are your strengths when it comes to leadership?
“As a leader, I believe that one of my strengths is that I remain calm under stress and always try to see the bigger picture. For me leadership is about working together because only then we can actually make a difference”
