Your role
Join Saab Air Traffic Management in Gothenburg, Sweden, and contribute to delivering cutting-edge air traffic control solutions to customers around the world.
As a Systems Engineer, you will become part of a dedicated and experienced engineering team of seven, responsible for implementing our advanced I-ATS system. Working closely with your colleagues, you’ll be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle – from requirements analysis and system configuration to deployment and commissioning.
In this collaborative and hands-on role, you will participate in technical discussions, contribute to customer workshops, and support on-site activities such as system validation, installation, and training. International travel is a naturally part of the role, with up to one week per month spent on-site with our customers across the globe.
The position is based at our waterfront office at Lindholmen, Gothenburg, with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
Your profile
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, and have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. You are motivated by technical challenges, eager to grow, and enjoy working with complex software systems in a team-oriented environment.
You are structured, communicative, and proactive – comfortable organizing your work and collaborating with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders. Your strong verbal and written English skills enable you to communicate clearly in both technical discussions and documentation.
We’re looking for someone with experience in:
Requirement management and system configuration
System verification and validation
Customer interaction
Linux environment
Additional experience in any of the following areas is considered a plus:
Network configuration
Software development
Project Management
Aviation or safety-critical systems
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance, additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
