Job Description:
Saab, Inc. has a career opportunity for a dynamic Senior Subcontracts Administrator to be a part of the rapidly growing Saab, Inc. Supply Chain team. As a Senior Subcontracts Administrator, you will be responsible for executing and managing high dollar procurements with critical subcontractors in accordance with the subcontractor’s Statement of Work (SOW). Experience in negotiating contract agreements and navigating FAR/DFARS contract requirements is required.
Responsibilities Include:
Reviewing, interpreting, and flowing mandatory requirements which will ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk.
Participate in the creation and management of Statements of Work (SOW) and drive the SOW to final review and for Engineer Technical Review (ETR) release.
Issue RFI’s & RFQ’s and ensuring receipt of complete information
Conducting flow down analysis to ensure compliance to customer requirements (FAR/DFARS, FAA, International requirements).
Negotiating and managing supplier price, cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Executing Subcontracts, Inter-divisional Work Transfer Agreements, NDA’s, Leasing agreements, and Long-Term Agreements.
Writing contracts letters and maintaining comprehensive legal records in compliance with USG Certified Purchasing System Requirements.
Supporting proposal costing efforts for subcontract material and labor.
Supporting business units across multiple sites including international coordination.
Managing supplier performance including holding Quarterly Business Reviews with critical suppliers.
May assist with metrics, reporting, continuous Improvement, and other strategic Initiatives.
Compensation Range: $75,800- $94,800
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.
Skills and Experience:
USG, DoD, or FAA contracts experience
BA/BS degree with 5+ years of experience navigating and flowing FAR/DFARS contract requirements
Professional certification or advanced degree preferred
Advanced purchasing experience- comprehensive understanding of fundamentals, building orders in an ERP system
Experience with Government and/or commercial contracting methods and contract types
Negotiating skills
Analytical thinking and problem solving- ability to apply sound judgement and creativity
Financial Acumen- ability to determine cost reasonableness
Desired Skills:
Cross-functional experience in Quality, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Program Management.
Continuous improvement (Black Belt, Green Belt)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Leadership and presentations skills
