Senior Production Test Technician

Job Description:

Saab, Inc’s Autonomous & Undersea Systems (AUS) division is looking to hire a highly skilled Senior Production Test Technician that performs a wide range of challenging tasks. With limited guidance, the Production Test Technician prioritizes and executes responsibilities, troubleshoots and resolves issues and is considered the content expert with respect to test equipment and peripherals. You will be involved in process improvement and development, influencing other leaders and team members in order to increase test efficiency. 

Job responsibilities:

  • Effectively use appropriate tools and computer skills such as MS Office applications.

  • Decipher required data from assembly drawings, schematic and wiring diagrams.

  • Utilize instruments such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, power supplies and multimeters. 

  • Troubleshoot simple electro/mechanical nonconformances.

  • Assign root cause to non-conforming assemblies.

  • Assist in several components of a project.

Compensation Range: $26.49/hr- $31.78/hr

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree, technical/business school, or equivalent.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience.

  • IPC/J-STD-001 certification a plus. 

  • Effectively use problem solving skills and analytical thinking.

  • Ability to solder simple electronic devices and assemblies.

  • LabVIEW a PLUS.

Citizenship Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
