Senior Buyer

As a growing organization, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Buyer, preferably experience within manufacturing environment to play a fundamental role in our procure-to-pay activities. This position will be involved in managing operational purchasing, inbound logistics, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers.

Specific responsibilities to your role:

  • Manage all operational purchasing activities including handling purchasing requests, RFQs, purchase orders, delivery monitoring, and invoice processing.

  • Prepare and execute RFI/RFP processes and review Statements of Work.

  • Conduct price comparisons and complex analysis across multiple suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.

  • Monitor the supplier order book to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.

  • Knowledge and understanding of ERP systems, with a preference for IFS, to support in implementation, internal training and streamline procurement processes.

  • Adhere to the approved supplier list (ASL) for all sourcing activities.

  • Recommend and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining efficiency and compliance.

  • Maintain a basic understanding of export control regulations relevant to procurement activities.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance value and reduce costs in procurement operations.

  • Develop procurement scorecards, dashboards, reporting, and analytics for periodic reporting to management.

  • Collaborate effectively within a growing team and be willing to engage in hands-on tasks as needed.

Experience and Knowledge

  • To maintain cooperation with customers and suppliers internally and externally.

  • To apply a structured working approach and consistent in using established processes and work instructions.

  • Understanding of ISO 9001

  • A positive, proactive “can do” attitude.

  • High capacity to acquire, apply and share knowledge.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust across the organization.

  • You must be able to express yourself in English, both oral and in written word.

  • Arabic language is a plus

  • Driver’s license
