Your role:

  • Identifying and winning new profitable deployable health business opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of Saab’s Deployable Health strategy
  • Conducting market analyses of the European and UK market for mobile field hospitals including the impact of market trends, customer requirements and government policy on medical solutions
  • Build and maintain business-to-business relationships that lead to new business opportunities
  • Develop campaign and capture plans for major medical defence programs and opportunities
  • Prepare a business case to launch a campaign in accordance with the Saab Global Management System Winning Business Process
  • Develop and enhance a network of appropriate customer and industry contacts, and within all relevant Saab businesses
  • Collaboration with our capture teams with a focus on the performance of our business units
  • Active participation in the response to tenders and monitoring of these as well as the later contract design
  • Comply with legislation and Company policies, processes and instructions, including those relating to non-discrimination, safety and duty of care and the quality management system

Your profile:

  • University degree in biomedical engineering, health science, alternatively significant relevant experience in one of these domains
  • Several years of experience in the medical domain within the defence environment
  • Experience in terms of health planning with medical infrastructure and selling medical devices into hospitals and defence
  • Extensive knowledge of the European and UK defence environment
  • Independence, team orientation and the ability to reliably ensure a high quality of work under pressure within tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills as well as high self-motivation
  • Ability to build and maintain professional networks, within Saab and with partners/customers
  • Proficient English language skills (written and spoken) and fluent in one or more European languages such as German, Dutch, Swedish
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
  • Security Clearance equivalent to NATO SECRET
