Are you a recent business or engineering graduate with a drive to make a difference? Are you ready to leverage your skills in a dynamic and high-stakes environment? Join Saab UAE’s Business Development & Sales Department as a Sales Associate and contribute to the growth and innovation of our defense business in the UAE and to some extent the wider Region of Middle East, and Africa. Reporting to the Head of Business Development & Sales, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to drive forward-thinking solutions and partnerships.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Emirati graduate or a professional with equivalent military experience to assist in executing strategic capture strategies. In this role, you’ll learn to drive growth through new and existing products and support the long-term objectives of Saab in the region. Your responsibilities will span opportunity identification, strategy execution, and collaboration across departments to meet ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales Initiatives: Assist the Sales and Business Development team with tasks essential for regional growth and capture strategy.
  • Collaboration Across Saab Units: Partner with Saab’s Business Units to position our solutions for future opportunities in new markets, products, and technologies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Help maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders, including the UAE Ministry of Defense, end users, military branches, and government agencies.
  • Opportunity Management: Identify and qualify business opportunities, assisting the capture process from initial engagement to proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Proposal Coordination: Develop winning proposals, manage proposal themes, coordinate with pricing and operational teams, and liaise with product owners.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships.
  • Market Insight: Conduct competitive analysis and provide market insights to support effective pricing and positioning strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, or an equivalent military academy qualification.
  • Knowledge of military technologies and/or operations is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the Tawazun Council acquisition process and UAE government procurement policies is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
  • Must be a UAE National.
