The role
As part of our Naval Combat Systems group, the CCA Operations Project Management Associate supports the CCA Operations Manager with the internal management, reporting, invoicing and overall planning for Saab personnel assigned to current and future CSI-IPT and CSIPT tasks.
Further, the successful candidate will:
- Coordinate inputs and prepare internal reporting
- On-board new Saab staff into the CSI-IPT and CSIPT including liaison with home managers
- Conduct export controls audits
- Invoice for labour and travel, and manage the database for agreed positions and rates
- Act as a key point of contact for questions raised by Saab CSI-IPT and CSIPT staff
- Facilitate and coordinate content for monthly information sessions
- Manage distribution lists and assist with communications with CSI-IPT and CSIPT staff
- Organise access to the collaborative environment
- Provision access to booking codes, management of booking codes and general timesheet support
- Facilitate and lead projects meetings where applicable
- Work closely with other functions including finance, commercial, ICT and support where applicable.
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office, a 9 day fortnight and part time (0.8 FTE minimum) will be considered for this role.
About you
Your skills and experience will include:
- Diploma/Certificate in Project Management (desirable)
- 2 – 5 years of administration in a project environment (essential), preferably in the defence industry
- Strong planning, analysis, and written and verbal communication
- A general understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies
- An ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility and the ability to cope with change
- Working with a diverse range of stakeholders
- A customer and outcome focussed mindset
- Proactive approach to implementing best practice approach to all tasks
- Awareness of earned value management principles (desirable).
