Your role

We are growing and are looking for a manager to our new section for Logistics and Production Management. This new section will manage external production, coordination of our different internal and external manufacturing sites and also provide customer support (mainly repairs and spares) to our existing customers. You will work closely with hardware development, production and purchasing to optimize flows, improve manufacturability and create clear interfaces between different stakeholders.

This is an opportunity for you who wants to develop as a leader and person through varied and challenging tasks. Your section consists of about 10 experienced colleagues and our main responsibility will be to develop and coach them. You will report to Head of UTAAS & Trackfire and become an important part of our management team, where together we drive innovation, improvements and long-term development.

As a line manager for Logistics and Production Management you will:

  • Be responsible for our production plans
  • Have a strategic focus, developing our capability, processes, way of working and people to enable delivery excellence and growth
  • Be responsible to develop our after sales business and support contracts together with marketing and sales
  • Be responsible for cost centre budget and result
  • Overall responsibility for growth and development of our leaders
  • Help and coach your personnel to execute projects, ensuring that we deliver the projects in time, to the right cost and quality

Your profile

We are looking for a person who has experience from production management. Preferably from technically advanced products. You also have business experience working with partners outside Sweden. You have a very strong business knowledge and are driven by developing and building competence in those areas.

Vital aspects for ways of working are full transparency, problem solving focus, good communication throughout the whole organisation and establishing an open trustful atmosphere. To be successful in this role, you are a team player with good judgement and drive, you are good at collaborating, you lead by example, have empathy for other people and are not afraid to help out where needed.

Required skills:

  • University education in a relevant field, for example electronics, mechanics or industrial economics, or equivalent work experience
  • You are experienced in production management and low-volume production
  • You have experience of steering groups and know what it takes to steer and follow up large projects (50MSEK à 500MSEK)
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written

Desired skills:

  • Experience from defence (operative, governmental or industry)
  • Experience from logistics management
  • Experience from service/repair business
  • Well-developed commercial acumen, with sound understanding of hardware, software and systems engineering
  • Management experience

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
