Internal Communications Manager with a focus on Group Function Security

Are you an experienced internal communications manager with a background in organisations working with security?  Do you know how to contribute to creating an engaged and informed function through communications? Have you managed communication of security matters to a global organisation, ensuring clarity and consistency across diverse teams?

We are looking for a colleague interested in taking on a new role and:

  • Setting up and managing internal communications within Group Functions (GF) Security 
  • Leading and driving internal communications for GF Security to all employees

Your role

  • Work closely with the Group Security management team and be part of the GF Internal Communications team
  • Be responsible for planning, producing, ordering, publishing and following up communications efforts such as texts, photos and video to support GF Security operations and strategy
  • Act as an internal motivator and adviser within the field of communication

Your profile

  • You are a communicator with experience of working with management teams
  • You have experience of working for government authorities or in a global company with an understanding of security-related issues in business processes
  • You enjoy working both strategically and operationally
  • You have a proven track record in selecting and utilizing the most effective communication channels, managing content on intranets, and evaluating the impact of communication initiatives.
  • You are a true team player with an open mind and solution-oriented approach, focusing on the team´s result
  • You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • You have a relevant academic qualification in communication, marketing, media, PR or a related field
  • You are excellent in both Swedish and English, oral and written

Most of your work will be performed at Saab´s office in the city center of Stockholm. Some travelling, a few times a year, will be part of the role. You will report to Head of Internal Communications and in the everyday work to Deputy Chief Security Officer.

Personal qualities will be of the utmost importance, and it is crucial that you are trustworthy, with strong ethics and personal integrity.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
