The role:
To lead and develop the Integration Team at Saab Seaeye as well as leading the integration, test and commissioning of our Saab Seaeye products in order to meet our contractual and business requirements.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
On time delivery of integrated and commissioned systems to the required quality standard.
Maintaining a safe working area and strict adherence to appropriate safety standards.
6S standards implemented and minimum level of compliance maintained.
Skills and competence development of the Integration team via structured training plan.
Continuous Improvement philosophy in place.
Supporting the setting to work process as required.
Capacity and resource planning for the integration area in line with Seaeye business forecasts.
Positive collaboration with key internal stakeholders/suppliers.
Support production engineering in the development and implementation of improved production methods for new and existing products.
Essential skills:
Team leadership and mentoring - technical knowledge and problem solving skills
Lean manufacturing principals - streamlining processes and removing waste.
Offshore energy domain knowledge and experience.
Desirable skill:
Knowledge of Remotely Operated Vehicles or Robotics.
Knowledge of Sub-Assembly level manufacturing.
