As a key member of our engineering management team, you will lead a dynamic, multi-disciplinary group of experts specializing in backend development, frontend interfaces, testing, and DevOps.
Your leadership will drive strategic initiatives across R&D projects, customer solutions, and platform development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a talented team of 10 professionals, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Oversee the development and refinement of DevOps pipelines and software assurance processes to align with international standards and ensure seamless IT infrastructure integration.
- Steer the team through the evolution of Saab LTD as we continue to grow and establish ourselves as a key player in the defense and technology sectors.
Reporting Structure: This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering, Saab LTD UAE.

Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is driven, communicative, and experienced in collaborating with others. You value relationships and have a humble working style and a strong ability to build trust across the entire organization.
We believe you have a Master of Science within Computer Engineering or equivalent. You have a good business understanding and focus on both operational works, making things happen, while also having the ability to think strategically and maintain a long-term perspective. You are challenged by driving business transformations where your ability to listen, engage, and communicate will be tested. You are flexible, energetic, positive, and enjoy juggling multiple tasks at once. You naturally have a deep interest in technology.
You come from a with several years of experience in software development and as a line manager. You have previously worked in a development unit, ideally with larger, complex projects.The position is Tawazun Industrial Park in Abu Dhabi and may include some travel.
