Your role
The Head of Procurement Excellence and Quality is responsible for shaping and executing procurement transformation strategies to enhance efficiency, supplier quality, governance, and risk management within the supply chain. In addition, you support continues improvement, such as processes development, digitalization, and compliance initiatives to drive sustainable value creation and operational excellence within procurement.
You will be a part of the Procurement Management team for Surveillance. You will also lead a management team comprised of the centralized functions - Operational Development, Supplier Quality Management and Component Engineering, appr 40 employees and reports to Head of Procurement. The role can be based in Gothenburg, Järfälla or Huskvarna and includes travelling to different Saab sites.
Key responsibilities:
- Take full ownership for develop and implementation of a procurement excellence framework that shall enhances efficiency, transparency, and overall performance.
- Lead optimization of Processes, Methods & Tools by automation, and digital transformation to drive operational improvements.
- Lead the definition and measurement of KPIs and PI’s across procurement
- Define and implement supplier quality management activities to ensure high standards, consistency, and compliance.
- Ensure internal and external compliance with regulations, policies and guidelines
- Secure relevant compliance strategy and implementation at procurement
- Develop robust risk management strategies to safeguard the organization against procurement disruption
- Foster sustainable and ethical procurement practices aligned with corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals.
- Overall design responsible for common standard components within Surveillance.

- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and managing complex organizations, and driving strategic initiatives and transformation
- University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain, experience in procurement excellence, supplier quality, and/or strategic sourcing, with leadership exposure.
- Experience from procurement systems (IFS, PowerBI, Excel) and data analytics.
- Deep understanding of supplier quality management, governance, and risk mitigation.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
