This leadership role is based at the DHCSC in Queensland and forms part of the broader JP2060 Support Program Leadership Team.

This position also offers Flexible working options and a 9 Day Fortnight.

Key responsibilities:

Monitoring & Execution:

  • Oversee technical maintenance issues with internal and external customer satisfaction in mind.
  • Monitor performance, quality, and compliance of maintenance support services.
  • Perform duties of Site Radiation Coordinator, ensuring adherence to the Site Radiation Safety Plan.
  • Maintain compliance with Defence supply chain requirements (LOGIS).
  • Ensure maintenance work aligns with authorised technical data and is properly documented.

Analysis & Reporting:

  • Submit recommendations for exchange or disposal of Beyond Economic Repair (BER) or Beyond Further Repair (BFR) items.
  • Analyse failure data to improve servicing and maintenance strategies.

Liaison & Coordination:

  • Work closely with the Engineering and Supply Support Teams to manage obsolescence, modifications, and ensure serviceability of all module assets.
  • Liaise with Defence Units and the Commonwealth Maintenance Manager on planned maintenance and system integrity issues.

About you

Experience & Skills:

  • Over 3 years in maintenance management and 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance or Asset Manager.
  • Working knowledge of Defence systems such as MILIS, IFS, or equivalent maintenance/inventory platforms.
  • Technical Trade Qualification (Cert IV) or Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Qualifications in Repairable Item Management, Logistics Management, or related field.
  • Background in Integrated Logistic Support is a plus

Personal Attributes:
