Job Description:
Saab, Inc. is searching for an Associate Information Security Operations Analyst to join our team in our East Syracuse, NY office. The right individual should be well organized and a good communicator with the ability to thrive in fast-paced high-stress situations. This individual will work closely with the security and information technology teams to ensure Saab’s U.S. infrastructure maintains a high-level security posture.
Responsibilities Include:
Develops and monitors security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce, and web-based systems.
Administers cybersecurity policies to control physical and virtual access to systems.
Performs network security audits and testing and evaluates system security configurations to ensure efficacy and compliance with policies and procedures.
Conducts vulnerability assessments of applications, operating systems and/or networks.
Researches and evaluates cybersecurity threats and performs root cause analysis. Assists in the creation and implementation of security solutions.
Performs daily security auditing activities.
Compensation Range: $61,600- $75,500
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.
Skills and Experience:
BA/BS degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
0+ years’ experience
Industry certifications a plus (Network+, Security+, etc.)
Please note that this is not a remote position, and the individual would have to work in the office.
