Saab’s business area Surveillance is growing rapidly and adapting the way we operate. The COO Office is at the center of this transformation, working across the business area to drive capacity and efficiency in all aspects of operations. To support this journey, we are now looking for a forward leaning and service minded Assistant to join the team.
Your role
The COO Office at Business Area Surveillance is a central function with about 350 employees. It organises Procurement, Planning & Supply Chain, IT, Sustainability, Site, Quality and Environmental functions, as well as Governance support, thus spanning across all of the Business Area’s operations. The COO Office management team consists of the respective function heads and staff roles and is led by the COO.
As Assistant to the COO you will support the COO with administrative tasks, coordination and planning. In this role, you will also be an integral part of the COO Office management team and support also the other members of the management team as needed.
- Handling the logistics around the BA COO daily work and long-term planning
- Administrative tasks such as handling mailboxes, archiving, copying, making printouts, travel and calendar planning
- Arranging meetings for the COO and administrating the COO Office management team meetings and conferences (sending invitations, prepare agenda, taking minutes, providing proactive suggestions)
- Administration of invoices, purchase requests and delegations
- Follow-up actions, proactively suggesting meeting topics and tracking deadlines from management team meetings
Your profile
To fit in this role, you are an appreciated service minded colleague with advanced organisational and administrative skills. Good judgement, high integrity and flexibility to handle and respond to upcoming situations are necessary attributes for this position. We are seeking a fast and service-oriented quick thinker to join the team.
You have deep understanding of service and administration and are both competent and willing to organise and perform advanced duties in these areas. You like a high pace and it is essential that you can have many activities and projects running simultaneously. You are self-motivated and proactively find ways to support. The perfect candidate for this job is also analytical and has the ability to summarize information and present it in a professional way.
You are fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply
