Saab's Focus Is To Partner With Indian Defence Industry
With Aero India 2015 round the corner, we catch up Anneli Sundin, Head of Communications, Saab India to know more about Saab India's plans and vision for one of the most important defence shows of the country.
What brings Saab to the Aero India 2015? Why is the Aero India 2015 important for you?
Aero India gives us an opportunity to show case our technologies, build relationships with Indian companies, meet the public, present ourselves as partners for Indian defence industry and demonstrate our commitment to the market.
Saab does not see itself as simply a vendor trying to meet immediate requirements of national governments but more as a partner in development of the defence capability of markets we work in. This is particularly relevant in the Indian context, given the focus on 'Make In India'.

Saab has a long-term commitment to India, and plans to team up with Indian companies on major programs. Saab seeks to partner Indian Companies in developing an indigenous defence industry.
