Saab Australia Opens Deployable Infrastructure EOI to Industry
Saab Australia is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from Australian SMEs to deliver a responsive, scalable and adaptable deployable infrastructure capability.
As the prime delivering the new Deployable Health Capability to the ADF under Joint Project 2060, Saab Australia is taking the next step in establishing a local consortium that combines the best Australian experience and knowledge available in the broader capability of deployable infrastructure.
Saab Australia’s Managing Director, Andy Keough said the EOI was yet another demonstration of Saab’s commitment to growing Australia’s sovereign Defence capability base and creating local industry opportunities.
“We are seeking to widen our network and provide new entry opportunities for quality Australian businesses into our national and global defence supply chain.
“This EOI provides an opportunity for a broader range of suppliers to join our network, with work packages across a wide range of industry sectors that may not traditionally be involved in defence related projects.”
Work packages included in the EOI released via the ICN Gateway range from water production and distribution to waste management, mess facilities, sanitation and furniture; along with heating and air conditioning; drainage and storm water management, and fire and rescue capabilities.
