Meet Brendan, Field Application Engineer

"My journey at Saab started as an apprentice with a subcontractor working on the Southern Queensland Correctional Centre Project."

"This then turned into an opportunity to join the Saab team formally as the supervisor for the site – the rest they say is history"

“In Saab’s civil domain, we work on a wide range of projects with many different types of customers. This means that we can be more creative with our product and really tailor our services to each client.”

“I’ve never been a 9-5 desk job type of guy, so working out on-site suits me perfectly! Doing fieldwork has allowed me to work with some great people in some unique places. For example, I have worked in high profile areas such as defence sites and prisons."

"So far, I’ve been involved in projects that I never imagined I would work on and I’m looking forward to seeing where new civil projects will take me.”

“I have always been a proactive person and Saab has been very supportive from day one of my desire to develop my skills further by giving me opportunities to achieve my goals. I aim to continue developing my skill set and move into Project Management when the time is right.”
