Your role
Background
One of the key praxices in DevSecOps is feedback and visualisation during the flow of software development. There are several gates in the flow that can give feedback. This feedback focuses on the general DevOps Key Performance Indicator (KPI) that gives the measurement of software delivery performance. In other words "How good is the organisation to deliver software". The stakeholder for this data is generally the product owner, managers and architects that can with this measurement see the performance and stability of the software as a global outcome. That means that it does not measures each teams performance but as a whole of many teams deliveries to one project or product release. From the measuremens one can see what level the teams are performing. A reason to the measurement can be stated by the Westrum Typology of Organistion Culture. In this internship, we want to investigate the level of maturity of delivery capability of the organistion and see possible relations to the Organsiation Culture. This will be benifitial for the managers to get insights as to where the bottlenecks are in the delivery flow. This entails both a theoretical and a practical part, where the theoretical part includes a deep dive into the DevOps KPI, level of performers and the Westrum Typology. The practical part will be to visualize and evaluate DevOps KPI's from daily builds in an agreed organisation.
Description of the master thesis:
As implied above, this Master Thesis will be both theoretical and practical. It will be divided into three parts: One study phase to learn about DevOps KPI, performance level and Westrum Typology. The second phase is to evaluate what is possible to do with DevOps KPI data and performance level insights from daily builds. Also to evaluate how to conduct an investigation as to where the organisation are towards the Westrum Typology regarding Organisational Culture. The third phase is to visualize the DevOps KPI from an agreed organisations teams daily builds.

Front-end stack development
Management
You are at the end of your master’s degree in Computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent, and is eligble for your 30 HP degree project.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
