Meet Saab at Indo Defence 2014

Saab will be participating in Indonesia’s premiere international tri-service defence expo & forum – INDO DEFENCE 2014 at stand D025 & D052 between November 5–8, 2014. The exhibition will be held at Jakarta International Expo (PRJ) Kemayoran. Saab will also hold a press conference at PUSKOM Hall D, Level 3 at 11:00 hours on 6th November during the Tri-Service Defence Expo & Forum.

At Indo Defence, Saab aims to showcase the width of Saab product portfolio, Saab technology transfer and efficiency of Saab products; aimed at strengthening Saab’s commitment towards meeting Indonesia’s military and civil requirements with good value for money and future partnership.

The Saab stand will display, among others, Gripen Fighter Model, Gripen GCS Simulator, Airborne Early Warning (ERIEYE), 340 MSA Surveillance Aircraft, 9AIRBORNE Mission Management System, RBS70 NG Trainer, 9Land C2 (BMS), Underwater Vehicles Double Eagle, MAPAM, and Battleteck along with its newest offerings.

Additionally, the stand will also have 9LV Combat Management System, RBS-15 Anti-Ship Missile, CEROS 200, Sea Giraffe AMB/1X, TactiCall, Bofors 40mm Mk 4 gun model and video display for Electronic Warfare Systems, Signature Management, Air Traffic Management.

Saab recently launched its Indonesia website,, in English and Bahasa to build closer ties with Indonesian people, government and institutions. A dedicated event site is a virtual space for updates from the Saab stand at Indo Defence 2014.

An online competition, The Saab Commander Challenge, is underway to test knowledge on Saab products and options available on the battlefield. The Saab Commander Challenge on offers participants a chance to win exciting Saab prizes.The contest launched on Friday, October 24, is already getting a large number of contestants competing for the prizes.
