Saab In Thailand

Thailand has been among the top 10 markets for Saab over an extended period of time. The company opened its offices in Bangkok in 1998 and has extensive engagement with both defence and civilian sectors of Thailand. With the intent of cementing its long term presence in the country, Saab also entered into a joint venture with AVIA Satcom.

Partnership with Avia Satcom

At Saab, we recognize that a key factor in a beneficial partnership lies in the transfer of high technology in recognized key areas. The formation of long-term partnerships between Saab, our principal partners and local companies and institutions is therefore a prerequisite.

Swedish Thai History

It is hard to find out when a Swedish traveler first visited what was then known as Siam. The same can be said about who the first Thai traveler to set ashore in Sweden was and which year it happened. Still we know that informal relations between the two kingdoms have been maintained over several hundred years.
