Last weekend, visitors at the Finnish Turku Airshow were treated to an aerial display filled with stunning aerobatics and flares by participating SwAF Gripen fighters. A special attraction at the airshow was Finland's oldest operational aircraft, Turku Flying Club's Klemm Leichtflugzeugbau, a German plane developed in 1928.
The Airshow was held on June 15th and 16th at Turku airport, Finland. The previous Turku airshows were organized in 2011 and 2015. This year, the two-day event was also a celebration of the FAA’s (Finnish Aeronautical Association) 100th anniversary.
With this great video, the Gripen blogs takes a summer break and will be back in August again. See you then and enjoy the summer.
