Your role
We are looking for a person with strong understanding of business information needs and associated information architectures, flows and security that enable effective and efficient business operations. You have an excellent understanding of the opportunities presented by digitalization and the ability to manage its implementation in terms of foundation data, information management processes, methods and tools. You are able to translate business requirements into information management strategies aligned with long-term business planning and enterprise requirements.
As Head of Information Management for Saab Business Area Aeronautics, you will:
Provide exemplary leadership, not only for your team, but for Aeronautics Information Management journey as a whole
Provide active support and guidance for management decisions related to information management throughout its lifecycle
Own and develop Business Area information management strategies to realise business objective and enterprise requirements
Develop and implement updated information management governance (including foundation data)
Ensure information management compliance, continuous improvement and competence development in support of operations
Establish the use of big data, AI tools and data science to leverage increased value from our information
Through your team, continuously develop of our ways of working, including training in compliance, methods and processes
Steer information management related projects to successful implementation
Represent Aeronautics in interactions with both external and internal parties
Represent Aeronautics in the Saab Information Management Council
You will lead and develop a team of information management professionals and project leaders, including information management back-office representatives. You will report to Business Area Head of Operational Excellence.

You are clear and effective in your verbal and written communication in both Swedish and English. You have extensive experience in information management from a strategy and leadership perspective.
Background and experience:
B.Sc/M.Sc in Engineering, IT or other relevant discipline, alternatively extensive and demonstrable experience in an area related to this role
Extensive experience in information management from an enterprise, staff function, research and development, production, industrialisation or similar environments
Experience with information management standards: ISO 27001, NATO, NIST (including CMMC self-assessment)
Minimum of 10 years management experience, preferably in information management or IT related roles

Aeronautics has operations across multiple sites and it is therefore a requirement to hold a car driving licence to enable travel between sites. Your primary place of work will be Linköping.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
