Saab had a successful showing at the Combat Air Forces' Weapons and Tactics Conference's (WEPTAC) industry exhibit in Las Vegas, Nevada, from January 14th to 15th. The company showcased its air offerings to several partners, customers and high-ranking U.S. Air Force (USAF) officers.
WEPTAC, which is hosted by the USAF Warfare Center and run by the Air Combat Command Directorate of Operations, brings together 800 warfighters from various branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, primarily USAF. Attendees join working groups to discuss new technology, joint warfighting, and other issues facing today's soldiers. During the final days of the conference, defense industry representatives exhibit air warfare technology offerings.
Several industry partners and USAF senior leaders visited the Saab booth, which featured offerings such as AviGuide, Compact C2, and numerous EW products.
According to Saab representatives, WEPTAC's 2015 trade show proved to be a worthwhile investment. "Year after year, WEPTAC provides Saab with a solid customer audience and a launch pad for industry networking," said Kevin Jackson, Saab Defense & Security USA's VP for Air Warfare Systems. "The positive reception we received at this year's show reflects our growing reputation as a dependable partner with top-tier offerings."
