Indonesia is identified as a strategically important market for Saab, therefore Saab is intensifying its efforts in the country. Saab opened a new office in Jakarta in 2013 and to take the communication to the next level, Saab has launched its dedicated site for Indonesia: http://saabgroup.com/indonesia.
The site will carry all updates on Saab’s presence in Indonesia, product offerings to Indonesia, interviews with Program Managers, important news, etc. Saab will also host a Facebook page for Indonesia later in the month.
According to Dan Enstedt, President & CEO, Saab Asia Pacific, “The Saab website for Indonesia is a platform to share our approach to defence and security, products and programs. The website will be a place where we wish to engage Indonesian people and government. The website will help decision makers understand our products and our approach to collaboration with government, industry and academic institutions. We hope that the website will be a bridge between Saab and Indonesian people, government and institutions.”
According to Peter Carlqvist, Head of Saab Indonesia, “The website will be a direct link between us and Indonesia. The website is both in English and Bahasa and underlines our appreciation of need to communicate our proposition effectively. There will be further development of our social media channels very soon in order to enable two-way communication between Saab and the people of Indonesia.”
Saab’s product portfolio includes many systems that would ensure high tech and proven solutions with good value for money for the planned further development of the Indonesian Armed Forces.
Saab is also gearing up for its participation in Indo Defence 2014, Indonesia’s Premiere International Tri-Service Defence Expo & Forum from 5 - 8 November 2014 at the Jakarta International Expo (PRJ) Kemayoran, Jakarta-Indonesia. Hosted by Ministry of Defence, Indo Defence 2014 is recognized by the industry as the indispensable place to be, to learn, to network and to do business.
This year Saab aims to showcase the width of Saab product portfolio, Saab technology transfer and efficiency of Saab products; aimed at strengthening Saab’s commitment to Indonesia.
