“Aero India 2015 is a major event in the Indian calendar and Saab is bringing cutting edge, top-of-the-line, future-ready technology to India. Add to that, our willingness to partner with Indian companies to ensure true transfer of technology and invest in the future of Indian defence industry. This is a great venue for us to interact with Indian defence forces, homeland security forces, the public, defence research establishments, defence public sector units and the private sector along with public visitors”, says Lars-Olof Lindgren, chairman of Saab India Technology.
“Also, we firmly believe that the Indian Government’s approach towards ‘Make In India’ has great synergies for Saab’s approach to enabling development of defence industries through collaborations in technology. India is our partner for product development for the global market. We are already collaborating with multiple Indian companies, in machining, in R&D, in aerospace technologies, in composites. We look forward to strengthening these relationships, and forging new ones, at Aero India.”, says Lars-Olof Lindgren.
