Scanveco Ltd, a privately owned Irish Company lauched Saab onto the Irish market in 1976. Scanveco Ltd. import Saab cars in to Ireland and distribute them through a 18 strong nationwide dealer network. Since it's launch in Ireland, Saab has established itself as one of the leading executive class marques selling very successfully against competitors in the high quality performance car market. Saab's BioPower technology has been very successful in this country. Originally launched on the 9-5 model; it is now also available on the new 9-3 model. Saab's current model range includes the Saab 9-5 Saloon, Saab 9-5 Estate, Saab 9-3 Sport Saloon and the Saab 9-3 Convertible. Sales in 2007 have exceeded 1080 units, with significant growth forecast for 2008.
